WEG Self-Care Package

In a classic operator model the WEG signs a contract where energy procurement, pricing, and billing sit with the operator. With Self-Care, the energy tariff and charging price stay with the WEG; HeyCharge delivers only the software, load management, and calibration-law-compliant billing. That suits WEGs that want to own their energy supply — and is cleanly covered by the latest regulatory clarifications on §14a EnWG and the metering-point operations act.

Three line items, all prices incl. VAT: Software license — Package M (up to 20 charge points) from €89/month at the promo price (regular €99), Package L (up to 50) from €179/month (regular €199), Package XL on request. The 10 % promo applies to contracts signed by Nov 10, 2026. Minimum term: 1 year. Energy tariff: contract and price sit with the WEG. Handling & billing: €0.035 per billed kWh. All packages contain the same feature set — they differ only in the maximum number of charge points. One-time costs for wallboxes and installation apply on top, and those are largely covered by the 2026 LIS subsidy.

€0. There is no monthly app fee, no base fee, no service flat rate. Residents only pay for the electricity they actually draw — at the price the WEG sets itself.

Yes, at any time — directly in the Admin Panel. If your electricity purchase price rises, you adjust the resident price in two clicks. If it falls, you pass that on (or don't — your call). You can also configure different tariffs for different times of day or resident groups.

The license scales with you. Up to 20 charge points: Package M. Up to 50: Package L. Above that: Package XL with custom terms. When you grow you simply switch into the next package — your existing Admin Panel configuration is preserved.

Yes — and that's the whole point. Most WEGs already have a common-area electricity contract (for garage lighting, for example). You can extend that contract or sign a separate one for the charging infrastructure. We're happy to advise on the pick, but we don't act as a supplier ourselves.

Yes. The wallboxes use certified metering and calibration modules (MID-compliant). Every charging transaction is signed and auditable years later — a prerequisite for legally solid billing to residents and, if needed, to the tax office.

No. HeyCharge is Bluetooth-based: residents connect to the wallbox directly from the app. No WiFi, LAN, or mobile coverage needed in the garage — a massive advantage over conventional solutions.

HeyCharge Self-Care runs with every HeyCharge wallbox as well as compatible third-party hardware connected via the HeyCharge Connect Bridge / Gateway. The WEG stays hardware-open and keeps the benefits of the software platform, load management, and calibration-law-compliant billing. The software license runs with a minimum term of 1 year and can be renewed annually. No long-term lock-in, no hidden cancellation clauses. The WEG keeps maximum flexibility — and we have to earn your renewal every year.

Yes. The hardware belongs to the WEG and the license has a 1-year minimum term — so you aren't locked in long-term. If you later prefer a full-service setup, we offer the "HeyCharge Operator Model" in parallel. Both models use the same hardware base.
